Scientific and Pedagogical Project "Intelekt Ukrainy"

The school has been a project participant since the 2017–2018 academic year

Since the 2017–2018 academic year, Mukachevo General Secondary School of Levels I–III No. 13 has been a participant in the all-Ukrainian scientific and pedagogical project "Intelekt Ukrainy" (Intellect of Ukraine). Its aim is to introduce into the national education space a system of teaching and upbringing for able and gifted children, in line with the main provisions of the "New Ukrainian School" Concept.

The educational process follows working curricula drawn up on the basis of the Standard Curricula created under the scientific and pedagogical project "Intelekt Ukrainy" and approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The project classes work with author teaching and methodological sets: a curriculum, methodological recommendations for the teacher, textbooks, manuals, printed workbooks and pedagogical software tools. These implement the educational tasks of the scientific and pedagogical project "Intelekt Ukrainy" in line with the age characteristics of academically able and gifted children, carry the appropriate approval stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and are published with extra-budgetary funds.

For every subject and every lesson, music and dance exercises for physical activity breaks have been developed, closely linked to the topic and content of the lesson.

Education in the "Intelekt Ukrainy" project classes is free of charge, but parents contribute funds to pay for teaching materials by signing an agreement with the publishing house of the "Intelekt Ukrainy" project (Kharkiv).

The "Intelekt Ukrainy" project programme is oriented towards a high level of knowledge and the all-round development of children. This is a new quality of education and a new approach to learning.

The success and prestige of the scientific and pedagogical project "Intelekt Ukrainy" are shown by the approving feedback from parents about their children's education, as well as the yearly increase in the number of future first-graders who want to study in a project class.

ABOUT THE "INTELEKT UKRAINY" PROJECT

It is very important that all of us – teachers, parents and students – understand that studying at school is work that affects the age-related changes in a child's body. If we create a favourable environment, we will see positive changes. Let us remember that not only physical health matters, but also the psychological and social well-being of the child.

We cooperate with the Institute of Children and Adolescents Health Care of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (Kharkiv) on the impact of studying under the project on the health of your children.

      The scientific and pedagogical project "Intelekt Ukrainy" operates within the regulatory framework of Ukraine, in accordance with current legislation. Students of the project classes study under specially developed curricula. The curricula and other teaching materials carry the required approval stamps of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
