Message from the Principal

Dear participants of the educational process, dear parents and guests of the school website!

I am sincerely grateful to you for your trust, cooperation and interest in our school.

Mukachevo School of Levels I–III No. 13 – is a school where love, a pleasant atmosphere, mutual respect and understanding prevail among the teaching staff, students and the parent community.

The school has 1092 students, who are active participants and winners of subject olympiads, the Junior Academy of Sciences, All-Ukrainian competitions, sports contests and creative festivals. The educational environment for students with special educational needs is organised at an appropriate level and in a proper way.

Since 2017 the school has run the All-Ukrainian scientific and pedagogical project "Intellect of Ukraine" and the city social and educational project "Trajectory of Talent". Since 2019 the Slovak language has been taught as a second foreign language for Grades 5–11. By introducing innovative approaches to teaching and upbringing, creating a comfortable environment and providing all the conditions needed for the development of a well-rounded personality, our school prepares the future elite of the nation!

For this reason, to make students' time at school during the educational process comfortable, the school's material and technical base is strengthened every year. A children's sports and recreational playground has been built for primary school students. The artificial sports field has been completely renovated, a resource room for students with special educational needs has been equipped, the canteen has been renovated, a classroom for studying the Slovak language has been set up, relaxation areas for breaks have been created and the school foyer has been updated. In 2022 a basic shelter of 618 sq. m was set up in the school basement to accommodate 900 students during an air raid alert.

For students, school is a second home. A home for gaining knowledge, developing abilities and applying skills.

The teacher's aim is to teach, the student's goal is to make use of the knowledge, and the task of the administration is to organise and create conditions for learners. We care about this, hoping for a productive dialogue aimed at common success and good results in our joint work!
